Description:
The Regional Business Manager (RBM) is a key position in growing our mixed signal business in China. A particular emphasis will be placed on promoting our products and securing design wins in the LCD display, fiber transceiver module, and POS (point of sale) terminal markets. The successful candidate for this position will also promote standard products, including digital potentiometers, silicon timed circuits and NVSRAMs.
Responsibilities:
- Promote products to the fiber transceiver module, LCD display and point of sale terminal markets.
- Identify new customers and markets.
- Determine new product ideas for development and validate customer interest, which includes determining customers’ future product needs, their interest in our proposals, and recording their feedback.
- Analyze competition to determine areas of focus, directions, and relative strengths and weaknesses.
- Manage the process of winning designs for our products. You will co-operate with and provide help to our highly qualified Chinese sales and FAE teams in order to win designs. You will get personally involved with customers on larger opportunities.
- Lead the merchandising strategy for the new products. This will include overseeing the writing of collateral marketing material, developing advertisements, and coordinating the announcement of new products.
- Travel regularly within China and occasionally to the U.S.
Requirements:
- BSEE or MSEE with at least 5 years' of applicable system design and/or applications engineering experience is required.
- Strong technical background in analog and/or mixed-signal electronics.
- Competitive nature, desire to win.
- Good business sense.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English (CET-6 preferred).
- Must be comfortable presenting product information and communicating with customers.
- Candidate with 3 years above semiconductor marketing management experience will be considered first
